Irax,

For me it was a pretty tough decision. As I said in the post I was accepted to both schools and they are both top notch! You really can't make a bad choice between the two.

Personally, my decision was swayed by two major factors. The first was my class visit. I was very impressed with the Kellogg faculty and students during my class visit. The class was very, very impressive, the discussion was robust and the students were all highly engaged. I really felt that "team" environment that Kellogg is known for.

The second factor for me was the "support" system that Kellogg has in place. The partners/significant connections program that Kellogg has in place is second to none. For my wife and I this was a key factor. We will be moving to Chicago so having a group of folks to plug into right away was key.

These two factors contrast fairly strongly to my experiences in the GSB classroom and the discussions that I had regarding a "spousal" support system from the GSB.

I'm happy to share more, just let me know what is on your mind.

I am deciding between the GSB and Kellogg, although for the part-time program. I would love to hear more about your thought process and why you picked Kellogg!
